NOVA RAIDERS MINUTES
29th January 2025
Take a moment to remember the sad loss of two of our own. Barry Round and Gary Wheeler the families found great comfort from the Club and Club members kind messages.
2024
2024 was a much more relaxed year we had our reliability, that was successfully run by Gary Wade with the full support of our members. Interflon kindly sponsored the event with free oil droppers for the first 50 entrants and kindly will be doing the same for 2025.
The intention for 2024 was to focus more on club rides and the social aspects.
Graham Pearce ably organised a great ride to Lake Bala which received glowing feedback.
We had a few people offer to organise rides last year, but circumstances unfortunately worked against them, meaning the clubs best intentions were not fulfilled. The drive going forward is for the club to proportionately support anyone who wants to organise any such events. The key to making this intent a success is good communication and collaboration .
Disappointingly interest in a Christmas /presentation evening was lacklustre and didn’t progress, hopefully following a fallow year we can organise something for 2025 .

All roles were outlined as current holders willing to stay in post and within meeting remained unchallenged.
Darren Muffitt following consultation stated his willingness to take on the management of the club website in the event that Mark Stuart-Walker wished to stand down.
Action for Gary Wade to approach Mark to best understand his intentions as not present at AGM.
Kit
Tim Roberts has Castelli kit in stock and a list of stock is available.
No Pinz kits is also available from their website.
Discussion within meeting as to possibility of kit change, majority indication is that this is not required.
Consideration would however be given to supporting (Set up/ artwork costs) specific event kit in consultation with Tim Robert’s to ensure a corporate approach. This would be considered on a case by case basis.
